lyrics

I've learned to shed my skin but the thought of what once was wins. If i had time to get used to the change, I would not always feel the same.

I've been fighting with the living and the dead. Parts of me belong to each but neither own my head. I can feel for my self but I can't think enough to know if you can't be physical you can still learn to grow and exceed what you know.

Who am I trying to please? The man in the sky or the man on the screen. I need to take what is primitive and rebuild from what I've lived. So I concern myself with one foot before the other, slither through the brush where the trees never fall. Once in awhile I find myself in situations that lack control.
