Hardwood tops collecting dust. Bar stools flipped around. You fell asleep on the table, I laid you down on the floor. Sink into me without a second guess, those quick sand eyes.

Life is good, when you've got no place to go. Spinning lies and telling secrets I'll never know. It's easy to get caught in your web, like so many stiffs before. I've sat back watching your game, you're much too tired to keep this up and you don't want to go to bed all alone. Time and again, you'll spread yourself thin. Like an old glass pane in the cold.
